Sons of Sailors were easy to work with and did a good job engaging the crowd w/some of the Parrothead competitions I had scheduled. Thanks again, we'll definitely keep you in mind for future events. Take Care, Mitali Chakraborty Entertainment Manager - Atlanta Braves I book bands to perform during our pre and post game shows in the Fan Plaza for many of our Braves games and Sons of Sailors ended up being one of the best we had all year long. They were easy to work with and the fans truly enjoyed the show! Great sound… great guys. Brandon J. Bissell Entertainment Manager - Atlanta Braves 755 Hank Aaron Dr SW Atlanta, GA 30315 Sons of Sailors is a professional band: they're easy to work with, they're punctual, and they know how to work a crowd. Their musicianship is what you would expect from such pros...excellent! Their June 26th show at Ashford Manor Concerts on the Lawn was a great success, and we hope to have them back next year! Mark Cooper Smith Producer of Ashford Manor Concerts on the Lawn Sons of Sailors are by far one of the easiest names to see on an upcoming show list, from a promoter's standpoint - They draw big and they deserve it, too! They can turn even the rainiest, coldest night into a shining beach, where everyone is happy, and everyone is singing. Ian Schwarber Melting Point, Athens Show Coordinator The Melting Point Eat. Drink. Listen Closely Let me say that the band, Sons Of Sailors, are "one of the best". They show up ready to entertain. They know a lot of songs. They are all professional. They have no vices, that are sometimes noticeable with bands. If it's Country, Beach, Buffett or Rock and Roll, these guys can do it. I have performed with this band in showcase environments in Nashville on numerous occasions. We've also played a lot of shows together. They are THE BAND I use when I need The Best. Simply put…if you want a kick ass band, that loves to perform and is totally reliable…Sons Of Sailors is it! Mike Dekle Recording Artist/Songwriter My name is Gary Potter - I live in Watkinsville, GA and went to a concert on the lawn at Ashford Manor Monday night (7/21/08). While at the Monday concert, I found out about a Jimmy Buffett Cover Band, Sons of Sailors, that would be playing the upcoming Sat. 7/26/08 (a charity event). Being a Parrothead, I Googled the band, and listened to several of their videos... Wow! Awesome! They actually sounded good - vocals included. Most Buffett Cover Bands don't get the vocals down. While walking into the venue, I passed a few more Parrotheads and told them what I had found out about the band and just prayed they would live up to my hype. They did. From the stage, Tony mentioned they would be in Athens again on Oct.10th at another venue-----I'll be there! Gary Potter President of Alcovy Sign Professionals, Inc.
